Workout Validation Policy
This annex provides clear examples of which types of activities are considered valid and which are considered invalid for NFT growth.
The list may be periodically updated by the Emorya team to reflect best practices and the health principles promoted by the app.
Valid Workouts
- Running or cycling with visible effort (elevated heart rate, consistent intensity).
- Strength training or HIIT with clear start/stop intervals.
- Structured sports: football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, etc.
- Gym workouts: circuit training, spinning, group classes.
- Intense physical labor (e.g. courier) if proven with a watch/phone app.
- Recreational walks considered valid ONLY if:
- they last at least 20 minutes of continuous walking,
- the session is recorded with a watch or phone app,
- if the user stops (resting, sitting on a bench, etc.), the session must be closed and restarted when walking resumes.
Invalid Workouts
- Leaving the watch running passively throughout the day (continuous recording >8h without stopping).
- Occasional walks such as shopping, slow strolling with frequent stops, sitting on a bench, or short interrupted movements recorded as a “workout.”
- Riding an e-scooter, e-bike, or any vehicle while the “workout” mode is active.
- Generic sessions labeled as “Other” without clear markers of intensity and duration.
- Repetitive or identical logs across multiple accounts, entered manually.
Emorya encourages real movement (sports, walking, physical labor, authentic daily activities).
Every session must be clearly defined: it starts when the activity begins and ends when it finishes.
Breaks and resting periods must not be counted as workouts.
